Famous Ghanaians you did not know are from Upper West Region

My cousin Haqi Osman is a footballer playing his trade in Turkey. He is from Wa Ghana, grew up in Hamile Ghana and even attended tertiary education in Wa Ghana. Despite this deep background, his wikipedia page will tell you that he is from Takroadi. When a northener becomes famous in Ghana, media, blogs etc will tell you that the person is from a southern town. Similar with us saying Dangote is african richest when Elon Musk is South Africa. Below are famous Ghanaians 'stolen' to Southern towns;
1. Mohammed Kudus- The most famous athlete in Ghana at the moment, his online biography will tell you that he is from Nima when he is from UWR. With lots of videos of him speaking Waali with the accent of an expert, no one outside the north knows that he is from UWR Ghana.
2. Hajia 4Real- despite that viral videos with her expressing how a Wa lady came to Accra and made it, no one down there knows she is from Wa. They tag him with Alajo. Hers is actually better cus some people knows she is a northener but thinks it is Tamale.
3. Salma Moomin- she was in the other part of the 4real video as they bragged about how two Wa girls made it with the famous beauty of Wa girls.
4. Kwesi Nyantakyi- a famous name in world football in this century for good and bad reasons. He is adored in Wa for giving them the first northern team to win the GPL. He hails from Wa sopkayiri and has relocated back home after you know what.
other honorable mentions- disclaimer, some of these mentions are not higher cus people have suspicions of them being from Upper West
i. Samini
ii. Wiyaala
iii. Black Raster
iv. Fentuo
v. Maxwell Konado
vi. dark suburb
vii. Shamima Muslim
5. Nwrth- with his real name being froko, Nwrth now known as (froy3) is a famous music producer in Ghana notably part of Lameme gang. He is from Wa although he hardly comes home. His name Froko is one of the most famous and oldest family names in Wa.
